Section 4: Launch - Reviews

There’s no easy way to say this…this is one of the most difficult portions of the Book Launch Blueprint course: asking for and collecting reviews.

For many authors, especially first time and indie authors, this is something that they have to work on for the entirety of their book's life, meaning that it's something they are constantly working on.

But if you ask us, the efforts you go to obtain book reviews are worth it!

In this video, we'll talk about the importance of book reviews and some of our best practices for obtaining them, including:

  • How to engage with reviewers

  • What review sites are worth it

  • How to handle negative reviews

Reviews are an incredibly powerful marketing tool for your book, but require patience and tenacity on your part.

The savviest authors make gathering reviews a part of their long term book marketing efforts!
